SORBA Middle Tennessee joins the mission to promote literacy and healthy-living

The Middle Tennessee Chapter of SORBA, a national organization that promotes mountain bike trails, has officially partnered with Ride for Reading Nashville in an effort to engage their members with the mission of promoting literacy and healthy-living among children living in low-income communities.

“SORBA Mid TN is honored to have the opportunity to support the mission of Ride for Reading. Education is a pillar of our organization and we truly believe Ride for Reading is the perfect outlet for us to help fight illiteracy. The gift of giving is tremendous and we plan to support Ride for Reading every chance we get.” Says Jason Campbell, President of SORBA Mid TN.

SORBA members will attend the Nashville September Delivery to Glengarry Elementary on September 16th. In addition, SORBA members will receive a race registration discount for Dirt, Guts, and Doughnuts VI taking place at Lock 4 on October 9th. More details to come.

“Ride for Reading invites all members of the community, but our main supporters have always been members of the cycling and mountain bike community here in Middle Tennessee. We are excited to have the support of such a well organized and recognized organization.” Says JC Torres, Executive Director of Ride for Reading.
