Volunteer with Ride for Reading at Kidsville Family Festival

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 • 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

KIDSVILLE FAMILY FESTIVAL

BRING YOUR FAMILY AND STOP BY AND VISIT RIDE FOR READING AT THE CONSERVANCY OF THE PARTHENON & CENTENNIAL PARK’S THIRD ANNUAL KIDSVILLE FAMILY FESTIVAL.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities including:

  • Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Reading Tent
  • Nashville Predators Fitness Zone
  • Music and Dance Performances
  • Character Photo Station
  • Craft Activities, Nature & Sensory Play, Face Painting, and Inflatable Ball Games
  • Food Trucks, Child-Focused Vendors, Local Nonprofits, and more family fun\

Families are invited to participate in the Super Storybook Parade by decorating their strollers and dressing up as their favorite storybook character at 10 a.m. Families can also enjoy a performance of  “Groovy Joe, Ice Cream and Dinosaurs” at 11 a.m. And don’t forget to watch a puppet truck performance of Puss in Boots at 12:15 and 1:45 p.m.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Ride for Reading will be setting up a reading/activity tent next to our friends with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! We are looking for a few volunteers to help throughout the day (for 2-3 hours) to pass out books and read/color with children at our tent.
